About population growth! Is it a dividend? The question remains!

There are many reasons why the world population
has shot up since 1927. That is inspite of wars
and other 'human' induced disasters!

It is amazing to see this graph showing a big drop in extreme poverty in India.
Inspite of this, there is a need to make that
 'extra effort' to
eradicate extreme poverty.
The 'rich' including the rich farmers
do need to introspect and become liberal.
They should recall the control raj times
and become forth coming and share their wealth in a more sensible manner.
The cry for 'socialism' is loud and clear!
Even our Constitution says so!

While compiling my rambler blogs, I saw an old article in TOI, titled 'Swaminomic's' which said  "increase in population is beneficial". Reminded me of the priest who blessed me with ten children at a pooja we performed in Bangkok. Quite annoying for a 50 plus years old like me!

I quote from a blog written in 2010: 'There are five things we have to fix quickly: education, labour markets, economic policy, governance and corruption...

The status of girl's education- in rural India and in slum India: Most girls from below or marginal poverty levels stop going to their broken down, often no teachers, blackboards, benchless schools at 12 or below. Know why? They begin menstruating around 12, and there are no bathrooms! .....Chandramouli.

My  blogs on  demographic dividend were dormant for a while. It occurs to me now, that CJP, a vocal and active young Indian generation, perhaps would have been different, if the  population had not grown the way it did in India!

Shall we say the jury is still out on whether CJP is part of the demographic dividend!        I am not sure how the not so educated, below poverty line, non-urban youth will benefit by their actions. Poverty numbers are large.

I consider the social groups like the Facebook, Instagram, X and  the many such as the new universities, free and fearless. Never mind the language, cursing and vulgarity were always there among the vociferous youth!
