A early morning walk on and around commercial street.
I was at the Anand Lab for blood test etc., hence I had two hours between the two tests I had to take.
As I walked past the guava vendor
the sight of old granite didn't impress me.
Even side streets are looking better |
It is understandable as it is too early in the morning There are enough workers from BBMP collecting garbage |
A few homes from the past caught my eye

Nidhi, can you please drive to & park your car at Srilatha’s, walk down one side of Sampige Road footpath from Shiva temple till 5th Cross Circle & describe it via photos ? Then take an auto back & stop for late breakfast( or brunch) at Srilatha’s. On a non festival mid morning day.
Someone told me it took him over an hour & more!
While on Commercial street, why didn’t you stop at Woodys for breakfast ?

One place we used to go long time back was a clock store - Everjoy, I think it is still there and the building is named the same. The owner was known to my uncle Sathyan, and we had the big wall clock with the pendulum which needed regular mainenance. Jayaram used to patronize Prestige, it is a huge shop now. My first pair of pants was stitched there.
