corona times- 2020 ..08. How Akshara keeps busy.

Akshara's mono-acting is impressive and the costumes, props she created with the resources available is amazing and very creative. I am sure Lord Krishna would be thrilled with her chariot and particularly the horse. She goes seriously into a subject, in fact she listed the main characters of Mahabharata and matched them to people from her family. I guess for fun! Akshara learnt to chant the sanskrit slokas from the Chinmaya Mission in Kuwait.

I have met Akshara ☺. In fact we went on a outing with her parents, Chitra and Sivarj and a few Sobha  music group friends. We had fun exploring Cubbon Park and eating Rava Dosa at MTR.   Well it now seems a long while ago! She likes music and is learning classical Carnatic music, She also loves like a typical school kid western and Bollywood music.

I quote from his comments to my earlier blog.

Hi Uncle, very true. Kids find their own way to invest their quality
time they have now due to clamp down in our city.
Some kids take up those hobbies that they are passionate about,
which otherwise they had to shelve earlier due to lack of time.
My daughter Akshara Sivaraj (10 years old) spends few hours daily
online with her teachers and classmates in the virtual classroom for her academics.
During her free time, she reads books, does sketching and writes scripts for her skits.
Akshara invests her time and efforts in making the props, dialogues and costumes
and enact scenes from the epic Mahabharata.

Recently, she came to me with a request to film her short story on Bhagawad Gita.
The web link of the same is attached herewith.

It is amazing to explore our hidden child in us by pursuing our hobbies
and arts during this Corona Times to keep ourselves quarantined
from the negative and sad news all around us.
